2. Nature of the Store

The Addmeon online store operates as a B2C e-commerce platform offering consumer electronics, household appliances, and related products for sale to buyers throughout the European Union. The Store's product catalogue is populated via supplier product data feeds (XML). Cnergy SIA acts as the seller of record for all transactions concluded through the Store and bears full legal responsibility as seller, including all obligations under consumer protection and product liability law.

The Store is registered as an information society service provider under the Information Society Services Law of the Republic of Latvia (Informācijas sabiedrības pakalpojumu likums), implementing Directive 2000/31/EC (the e-Commerce Directive).

3. VAT and Tax Registration

Cnergy SIA is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) in the Republic of Latvia under VAT number LV40103709466. All prices displayed in the Store include VAT at the applicable rate.

For cross-border B2C sales to EU consumers in other member states, Cnergy SIA applies the EU One Stop Shop (OSS) VAT procedure where applicable, accounting for VAT in the consumer's country of residence in accordance with Council Directive 2006/112/EC as amended by Council Directive 2017/2455/EU. VAT invoices are issued upon request.

5. Consumer Rights and Mandatory Disclosures

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and Directive 2011/83/EU, Cnergy SIA provides Buyers with the following mandatory pre-contractual information before the conclusion of a distance purchase contract:

• The identity and contact details of the Seller (see Section 1);
• The main characteristics of the Goods, as described on the relevant product page;
• The total price of the Goods, including VAT and any delivery charges, before order confirmation;
• The arrangements for payment, delivery, and performance;
• The existence and conditions of the 14-day right of withdrawal (see Return Policy);
• The existence of the legal conformity guarantee and commercial warranty terms (see Warranty Terms);
• The availability of after-sales support and the complaint handling procedure;
• The duration of the contract and conditions for termination, where applicable.

6. Product Safety and Compliance

All Goods sold through the Addmeon Store are sourced from suppliers who confirm that their products comply with applicable EU product safety standards, including CE marking requirements where applicable. Cnergy SIA does not alter or modify products. In the event that a product is identified as potentially unsafe or subject to a manufacturer recall, Cnergy SIA will take immediate action to remove the product from sale and notify affected buyers in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Addmeon Store, including the Addmeon brand name, logo, Store design, original textual content, and layout, is the intellectual property of Cnergy SIA and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. Product names, trademarks, and images remain the property of their respective manufacturers and are used for identification purposes only. No part of the Store's content may be reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without the prior written consent of Cnergy SIA.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cnergy SIA makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on the Store is accurate and up to date. However, as the Store's product catalogue is sourced from multiple supplier data feeds, Cnergy SIA does not warrant the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all product information at all times. Cnergy SIA is not liable for technical interruptions to the Store's availability, errors caused by third-party systems, or for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers (carriers, payment processors). These limitations do not affect any mandatory rights of Consumer Buyers under applicable law.

10. Governing Law

This Legal Notice and all legal relationships arising from the operation of the Addmeon Store are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Civil Law, the Information Society Services Law, and the Commercial Law. Nothing in this Notice limits any rights of Consumer Buyers that are guaranteed by mandatory law in their country of habitual residence within the EU.

This Legal Notice may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in the operation of the Store. The current version is always published on the Store with the effective date shown at the top of this page.
